An in-person beginner course designed to help you get out of Auto mode, understand exposure, and create stronger compositions through weekly practice and feedback.
Price: 200€ per person
Schedule: 6 sessions (2 hours once per week) on the weekend
Learning outcomes
Control brightness using aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
Capture sharper photos by choosing the right focus point and shutter speed.
Compose images with clearer subjects using simple composition principles (e.g., rule of thirds).
Build a small portfolio set by the end of week 6.

Camera (DSLR/mirrorless/compact) or smartphone
Fully charged battery (plus a spare, if available)
Memory card with free space (if using a camera)
Lens (a kit lens is perfect); optional: a prime lens if you have one
Weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor practice in Frankfurt
Optional: small tripod and earbuds (for quick video tips during practice)
FAQs
1) I only have a phone. Can I join?
Yes. Exercises are designed with equivalents for both phones and cameras.
2) I have a DSLR but don’t understand settings. Will this be too advanced?
No. It starts from zero and builds step-by-step.
3) Will we use manual controls?
If your phone or camera supports manual exposure control, you can use it, but it’s not required.
4) Do I need a tripod?
Not required; optional for low-light and motion-blur exercises.

Sessions take place in Frankfurt am Main (exact meeting point shared after booking). Some weeks include an outdoor practice photo walk.
Language
Language of instruction: English (simple, beginner-friendly).
Questions are welcome in German & Arabic if needed.
Group size
Small group setting (up to 3 and max. 6 participants) to ensure individual feedback and enough practice time.
